ok, i'll say it. this is cool as fuck, OP. it'll be like owning a tuxedo, something you don't wear frequently but when you do you look great. you'll have halloween costumes taken care of from now on, you can always be generic medieval guy but you can also add little things to change it up to a lord of the rings dwarf or game of thrones guy kind of costume. or go old school and be robin hood. and yeah, the ren fairs, you'll fit right in there.
tbh for years i've wanted to get a really cool rogue costume and go to the ren fair and shoplift as much shit as i can stuff in my leather satchel without being caught. but i'm probably not the first idiot to have that idea so there's probably cameras everywhere.

get loose fitting pants and take them to the tailor and have them add like 30 hidden pockets. for stealing. also, if you're a chick then please be a poison dagger rogue. they're the best. if you want to be cool as fuck get a little satchel and carry several vials of lethal poisons. if you want to be a nerd then fill the vials with alcohol and occasionally drink from them to build up a tolerance.
if you're a dude dagger rogues are still cool, but you could be anything as long as it's not sexy dagger rogue. and you'll at least need to carry a little pouch with a sharpening stone. i'd also suggest carrying a pouch with some potions in them, you can get corked apothecary bottles and fill them with several drams of whatever potions you like, 5-hour energy makes a great stamina potion. you should really nerd the fuck out.
i'm going to stop telling you how to do your thing, but if you're going to nerd out then really embrace it

Squeegee was asking about OP's pick pocket and save vs. poison rolls.

I knew I could count on you to enable me. Thanks, bud. I’m a dude and, yeah, I’m excited to have this costumery on hand. I’ve wanted to expand my costume wardrobe and this is my first medieval getup.
I’m going to wear:
- mid length archer tunic, brown (canvas cotton)
- short sleeve tunic, black (wool)
- tights, black
- shoulder cape and hood, black (wool)
- studded chest plate, brown (leather)
- studded bracers, brown (leather)
- 16th century steel archer helmet
- belt, leather
- bags and satchels on the belt

Are you, in fact, pray tell, literally, peradventure, a 13th generation descendant of John Miner?

nice, that's bad ass. looks like good quality too, they did a lot of detail work with that woven brigandine. is that what it is? a brigandine?
