Topic: My sleep problems

Anonymous A started this discussion 8 years ago #67,175

So, I have a problem, and I am asking for your advice and help. I have terrible sleep patterns. I stay up really late, like 2-3am, because I become creative at night and do not feel tired. But I have a terrible time waking up in the morning to go to work. I do it because I have to, but I feel miserable all morning and day. Then on the weekends and days off, I sleep all day, sometimes waking up in the afternoon, and I am racked with guilt and feelings of failure. I want to just be on a normal schedule, but the idea of going to bed at 9 or 10 seems so boring. I feel like I am missing out on life an on creativity. What can I do?

Combine one or all of these:

- regular exercise
- no electronics or books in bed
- 3 mg melatonin or 1 mg prazosin at 8:30 pm (I am not a doctor)
- consume indica-dominant marijuana, vaporized at 9 pm or edibles at 8 pm
- masturbation at 9 pm
- fucking a shit up your ass

Also, start your day with methamphetamines and/or caffeine.

You don't "become creative" at night, that's just a lie you telling yourself to justify spending so much time in self-gratification.

Sir I did not advocate for smoking pot.

As an expert on the sleep-inducing effects of masturbation and vaporized marijuana I must demand you cease and desist this character deformation immediately.

A bottle of wine and four benadryl. You WILL sleep. For 12 hours. The benadryl and wine help shut down your mind. I find it incredibly difficult to stay up for more than an hour on this combo.

how much do you weigh?? four Benadryl fuck me up

Anonymous F replied with this 8 years ago, 44 minutes later, 4 hours after the original post[^] [v] #822,960

For me that amount just acts like a powerful sedative when mixed with alcohol. It's just like my brain completely shuts down and I just have to go to sleep. You go from being wide awake to falling asleep involuntarily in minutes. Benadryl alone and alcohol alone don't have the same effect but combined it will knock you out.

Chewing the tablets tastes gross but makes it kick in a lot faster.

It does work. It's not an insane amount of benadryl (like middle schoolers take to get "high"). It's actually just double the recommended allergy dosage. It won't make you high, just incredibly sedated.

@previous (F)
uhhhh when I take too much Benadryl it has the opposite effect of the proper dosage
when I take two I get drowsy. i took four once and I had waking dreams and didn't sleep all night
that's not what I call getting high or sedated

The box says excitability may occur as a side effect. You might just be weird.
