Had my hand on a support stand for crates...forklift driver lowered several hundred pounds on my hand..
I swear I heard crunching...boss took me to a clinic...xray showed nothing broke..
several nasty lacerations...but just four stitches..
handed me a bunch of sample packs of ibuprofen and tylenol..
also...drug test...CLEAN..

Yeah...work can suck...my boss is always hassling me about my drinking..
So what if I want some booze before work...and during my break...it’s not a huge deal..

I'm not a fool. You obviously got hurt purposely to get workers compensation. Not happening, Berty. They might also drug test you and see all the drugs you've done. Moron...

Way to go trying to get out of work you lazy fuck.
Anyone who works around forklifts KNOWS not to be so damn close that you get hurt.
And ironically, you chose to do so. Its a damn shame you didn't lose that hand.

It was business as usual...I am actually at fault...but it was still an accident.
we were working both sides of the room to push efficiency...having to hustle back n forth...when previously I had been 'trained' in an even careful pace..
same type accident has happened more than once before there... I'm told..
I was working in tandem with a boy on his first night and was having to cover part of his tasks also...which hampered my concentration..
