Many educated decent people have held some anti-Semitic opinions. For instance, Roald Dahl the beloved children's author in 1983 said "There's a trait in the Jewish character that does provoke animosity ... I mean there is always a reason why anti-anything crops up anywhere; even a stinker like Hitler didn't just pick on them for no reason."
Now Dahl liked being edgy and this outburst was probably just that. However, why do you think decent kind people such as John Manyard Keynes and George Orwell held anti-Semitic beliefs. Even today some people who are well educated and are decent people can express some very anti-Semitic opinions. This makes them flawed but it does not make them a Himmler or a Rosenberg. Why do you think this is? Do you think that a lot of dislike towards Capitalism (which is understandable as Capitalism is far from a perfect system), remains with anti-Semitism as its human face?

I’m not racist, but I do happen to have really strong opinions about lazy, crime-addled blacks and the money-hungry, shifty jews. This is a perfectly rational and reasonable position and the fact that I obsessively post about it is the fault of the jews and blacks.
