Matt is an undisputed expert on all things Chinese. Having spent five years actually living in the country, he knows more about the Chinese language and culture than anybody on the whole damned internet. Hell, he even knows more than native Chinese people who've actually lived an entire lifetime out there. He makes indigenous professors at Peking University look like idiot savants by comparison. We know this to be true. It must be, because he's told us so on innumerable occasions, and we have absolutely no reason to doubt his word on the subject.
