They finally came in from Performance Bike. I was a bit nervous because they have absolutely no tread at all.The bike does look a bit gayer with slick tires. I'm signalling to everyone that I have absolutely no intention of leaving the asphalt. I popped them on for the ride tonight and they have SO MUCH FUCKING GRIP ? cornering is like on rails.

They also have no rolling resistance. You can coast forever. I can now go twice as fast, twice as far with half the effort. It's hard to describe but everything feels much sharper, like the bike is on crack. I could feel the knobby off-road tires "squirm" when I would turn or accelerate. These don't.Cornering is like on rails, even leaned way over.

Slick tires are fucking AWESOME why do they even put tread on bike tires at all?

They put treads in the tires for wet roads.

Aussies BTFO ?

@previous (B)
You're welcome! It doesn't mean much though because I'm a fair-weather recreational cyclist.
