Topic: How does one gain enough stamina about video games to actually stop sucking?

Catherine !TGirlYJKXM started this discussion 8 years ago #66,859

I just don't have much motivation to play video games anymore and that is even affecting my two favorite games of Minecraft and The Sims. Fortuantely, for those two, they are great to just mess around in. I don't have motivation for most things. How do I change this?

What has stamina got to do with video games?

OK, just start playing on normal mode instead of the easiest setting. If you keep dying, it's a good thing. It will help you practice not to die and get better. Even if you die 20 times you will eventually beat it, keep persevering.

I usually play on the normal settings. Video games and a lot of other things just cannot keep my interest anymore.

you're depressed. you need to compensate by overeating and doing lots of aerobics to balance everything out. it's what ladies do.

I'm trying so hard not to overeat at the moment.

Maybe if you had better graphics to enjoy, like those in Second Life™, you would have more stamina.

I wonder if this is a side effect of the transition. From what I've seen women on average are much less interested in video games than men. Could your brain be re-wiring itself into female mode?

I think it's called growing up.

Or possibly boredom.

Maybe diversification?
