I don't think we can be sure unless we ask every single one of the voters, and also only if they answer truthfully, and also if they have the internal insight to know if they would have voted the other way, because maybe they didn't think about it consciously.

Has nothing to do with Hillary tbh. He just wants to reinvigorate his disillusioned base and remind people he's not a fan of shitlibs. This is in response to blowback after he cut a deal on dreamers with dems and has only "repaired the fence" instead of building a wall. Immigration was a huge issue for him and his voters, not delivering is costing him.
