I honestly cannot think of anything other than the common standing in line for a loaf of bread that many like to cite for things wrong with communism. Now that I type that I thought of another thing that people claim is wrong with that social system. I guess it's because they wish to feel like they've earned something for working hard and if everyone is entitled to the same luxuries then there is no incentive to work. All of this is just what I've heard and in no reflect my views of communism. Just answering the question according to common opinions.

it's not really a system that people are supposed to adopt purposefully from what I've heard

it was an academic conclusion that societies would just naturally become that way

and so it relies on assumptions about the aggregate way that people behave

and so it doesn't necessarily have a real state of being in the way that people think it might

the weird "invisible hand" idea of "the market" is another example of an aggregate way that people behave that people imagine to be a real being

metaphors are not the real thing but people think they understand the real thing when really what they have in their heads is a metaphor

communism ideally requires everyone to be a communist and to actually act like a communist

which is why it works so well in voluntary communes and villages but not so well in mega states of millions of people

The biggest problems with Cuba are 100% literacy, increased longevity, and being too progressive with women's rights.

In 2012, the last year for which Human Progress has data on Cuban literacy, 40 out of 73 countries and territories surveyed by UNESCO had literacy rates among adults higher than 90 percent. With 99.75 percent, Cuba came in second place—after Azerbaijan.

Fashion sense. No communist society has ever been able match the dress sense of their capitalist counterparts.
