It is mostly maneuver algorithms which are used to permeate the cube itself. The difficulty is understanding how these permutations affect the 3D structure on a whole, and once you can understand how they do that, the process becomes easy to do once you start adding more complex permutations.

Yes. I have, and they require a much more difficult algorithm. The same principle applies but in an abstract point of you, you have to consider all other cubes you are shifting. A more weird version is the Square One puzzle, and that requires a little more effort because normal algorithm permutations on it are not as simple as on a regular Cube. Those I have played with, but can't solve nearly as quickly.

I have an impeccable memory for facts, an eye for detail and the ability to extrapolate.
It helps with being a slacker. ;D
But it also creeps people out sometimes if you can repeat facts to them they mentioned about themselves 4 years ago in passing, LOL.
It works less with faces than with names and stories, but not so much it would be a problem.

Yeah, it's just building up algorithms for moving parts to different places and combining them. Some strategies for solving the larger cubes involve temporarily treating two or three layers as you would one in a regular 3x3x3 cube. On a standard cube I hover around 2 minutes generally for solving, but I've gone under a minute before. :D
The 4D cubes are hilariously fun; it feels like eels writhing around in your head after too long spent thinking about it.

We have "Who wants to be a Millionaire" in national television, but I've yet to come across a bar that has trivia nights.
