What are the chances of a Hurricane in Texas, then Hurricane in Florida back to back? I have a feeling that disaster might be coming to California next in the form of the big earthquake and this feeling is uneasy. Perhaps I am merely succumbing to the notion of natural disasters increasing and ignoring the separation between them.

@914,022 (O)Bro, I live in California. We have been on fire all summer and have earthquakes all the fucking time. If you look at California on any given day, we have a fuckton of small earthquakes. A 1.9 in Moreno Valley and a 4.4 in La Verne doesn't even make the news. The picture I included is a shot from the USGS Earthquake Map for today. Seriously, you need to learn to chill out.

Seriously, go and look at an earthquake map every day. It's just more of the same. One day "the big one" will hit socal. They've been saying it since the 80s. Until then, just accept that you're living near a fault. You're actually pretty far away from a major fault.
