Depends how 'old' he wants to go. I have a similar amount on every UID I've ever had. I had ~11,000 posts before we moved to the bunker, and close to 7,000 on T4C. I don't remember if they erased the posts from 2.0 or not in that.

Push Print Screen SysRq (it's on the top right of your keyboard) then go to MSpaint or w/e and pusg ctrl+v, then use the marquee to select what you want, ctrl+x, ctrl+a, delete (not backspace), then resize the area to a small box and push ctrl+v, then file>save as, then pick a place to save it to, then select JPG or PNG in the dropdown, give it a name and click save.
