For me, it's still the one about how he was on a secret government mission flying over Asia with some military agents, when his plane was shot down over Cambodia, and he, the sole survivor of the crash and using only a single machete, hacked his way out of the Cambodian jungle to safety, killing hundreds of fully-armed Khmer Rouge soldiers along the way. I like the time he watched Charlie Wilsons War and wrote himself into the movie as a secret agent. The part where he said he was literally standing in the editing studio and saw the character based on him cut out of the movie was not unsurprising as this is how all of his stories go. Because of his industry ties he was still invited to sit with Tom Hanks at the premier, but couldn't make it... I love the ramblings of a senile fool living in a dream world.
