Drunk men rescued from English Channel dinghy

Apparently they had set off to sea in the small dinghy with only one paddle. They had to be rescued. The three drunk men set sail for France, but had to be rescued from their seven foot, inflatable boat. They were drifting in the English Channel for 11 long hours. They set sail from Little Hampton, West Sussex, about 9pm on Saturday. A birdwatcher saw the men at sea. They had drifted about two miles out to sea. They were waiving their hands trying to get some help. The men were picked up by an RNLI crew. They had to be treated for hypothermia and were taken to Worthing Hospital.
