I'm also surprised some tiny third world country like Eritrea hasn't popped up yet selling hate websites domains at exorbitant rates. You could get Stormfront.er or something and in exchange for a lot of money the Eritreans (or whoever) don't cave to Western pressure.

As I understand it was just the .com that was taken not the hosting? Domain registration is controlled by a few large companies who are vulnerable to public pressure because Andrew Anglin's $20/year or whatever for dailystormer.com is nothing compared to the bad PR of "giving a platform to hate". Hosting is more diversified and you have free speech hosts like PRQ.se who will host pedophiles because they can charge a lot of money for doing so.

He was definitely in that sweet spot. But if a company like DreamHost can be crippled by rumors of planning to host such a site, then it would be folly for them to try to handle hosting on their own without someone like Kimmo to "harden" the site to such attacks.
