Topic: why is my acne symmetrical

Anonymous A started this discussion 9 years ago #65,166

NOTE: not a beckydraad

When I get a zit then another one is likely to pop up on the opposite side of my face

Why is this

Maybe you flip flop on your greasy pillow?

Change out your pillowcase every night and update.

Turn up the randomization on your textures. You're probably just getting the same skin graphic repeating.

Random people on the internet who are definitely qualified for this are suggesting it's from hormones and/or inflammation.

The right side of your face is simply a clone of the left side of your face... Or the other way around.

How can mirrors be real if our eyes aren't even real

you know, we still don't know how/why exactly the disease even happens

everything from diet to demodex mites get the ever-shifting blame

perhaps the most promising cure is the laser pulse selectively targeting sebaceous glands that are the immediate source of trouble

eliminate/reduce the gland eliminates/reduces the waxy garbage in the pores, leaving considerations such as nutrition/hormones moot, and bacteria/mites are not so well fed.

for decades, the way to target the glands was with giving your whole system accutane, which fucks around with your whole body, and so is really too blunt a weapon that doesn't really target the glands with specificity
