If you are 23 yr + Asian male, and you haven't had a girlfriend, chances are your mother is telling you to find one ASAP for New Year.
Now she is telling you to call your grandma, knowing that your grandma will bringing up great grand son issues.
You want to tell them, that this isn't like back in Asia, or back in the 1980s. You brought me to a world dominated by white men, who have elevated their sexual desirability above that of all other faces. And here's the topper, Asian women are in cahoots with these men. They will ignore their Asian male counterparts, never even giving them a chance at all.
Yet under these dire conditions, the parents pretend everything is fine, and insist that I go about finding a mate the way they did. By the way, my parents met each other because they were forced by the government to live in the same neighborhood and work at the same department. It was all planned out for them.
How do you tell your unwoke Asian parents the truth about dating in North America?
