You shouldn't allow somebody elses opinion about how pink a chunk of meat ought to be bother you. Food has a single function - digestion - and the method of cooking is not relevant at all to that end. Indeed, it is virtous exercise self-control and be happy with simple foods than allow yourself to be disrupted by such a trivial external.

Of course you can. A few cannot stand what looks like blood so they demand a medium cooked steak. Exceptions to every rule. Canned green beans or over cooked green beans are just wrong. Over cooked mushy pasta is also just wrong.
