Walking for a year or two isn't worth living seven.

Meta has the right of it.

> Blood tests taken during six months of regular aerobic exercise, high-intensity interval training and strength training showed that an anti-ageing process had been triggered and helped repair old DNA.

8 Months ago I stopped the daily 10 Miles on the Beach run BECAUSE I joined 24 hour fitness 13 Months ago.

I decided I need to get my heart rate higher then it was just doing the long beach run which means going slower for the miles. So now it's a mix of daily Beach run and the treadmill in the gym along with other gym machines. On the treadmill I jack up the elevation and push hard on the speed and keep close track of heart rate.

Total mileage daily is now on average 7 or so. I wanted to get rid of a baby bump which is ALL GONE - Problem was the weight loss continued and I started to worry because I also cut some sugar via desserts so calories were dropping with weight dropping and I will NOT add Fat to diet except for a LOT MORE OLIVE OIL.

I refuse to give up the Endorphin rush that running/treadmill gives me.

Also it's not about LIVING LONGER - It's LIVING Healthy - Happy

Actually that is true - It's tricky on the beach to do that but I do because it tightens up the inner thighs like crazy - Probably not a full mile backwards but more like 1/4 to near 1/2 - Have never measured that.

Syntax is winning CrossFit competitions now, along with surfing, mountain climbing, free climbing, snow and water skiing. He also writes political and tech articles for the Huffington Post when he takes time off from inventing the F-14 Tomcat.
