The war between the states never happened, slavery never happened, the Confederacy never existed, everything's been great from 1776-now.
It won't work on those alive today, obviously, but if everything upsetting is expunged from all the books and school curricula (with strict criminal penalties for anyone caught spreading Fake History), in a couple of generations we'll have overcome everything divisive in American history.

Dude, statues are not annals of history: they are tributes to certain people. We have books and institutions to teach us history.
