"One member of the group hit the phone out of my hand and my natural reaction was to push them out of my personal space. Immediately following I was hit in the back of the head with a some type of blunt object."
Police officers responded and the journalist was transported via ambulance to the hospital, where he received four staples in his scalp. He was later released from the hospital.
"This is not a peaceful protest," he wrote.
The journalist was not a Nazi, not threatening anyone, just standing on the sidewalking filming the protest, gets hit in the head completely unprovoked.

@805,648 (The Witch Doctor !6W1Zpe4MCM) > How can it be propaganda if it actually, literally happened?
Notice how this guy wasn't involved in an "accident"? He didn't "fail to get out of the way" or wasn't hit by someone who "may have panicked" at the time. They don't even bother with an "allegedly" before saying he was attacked. It's a conservatard local station manufacturing outrage.

He is an employee of the CBS station. That still doesn't change the fact that a guy was attacked and seriously injured by antifa, completely unprovoked. You can watch the video yourself. He wasn't a Nazi, wasn't threatening, was just standing off to the side filming it on his phone.

I mean they actually went up to him and forcefully tried to stop him filming it.

That doesn't make him a journalist any more than anyone else who records video on their phone while not at work.
> That still doesn't change the fact that a guy was attacked and seriously injured by antifa, completely unprovoked. You can watch the video yourself.
The video doesn't show that. It shows some guy getting up in people's faces with his phone. Some people wave things in front of his phone and then it falls down. Is there video of him getting hit? Did he hurt himself falling down? I can't tell.
What I do see is FOX and its local affiliates blowing a story up and trying to make a false equivalence between these protesters and the Charlottesville groups as if they were the same thing. They really aren't, but the kind of people who they spoon-feed these stories to probably won't figure that out.
