mere rhetoric of no value other than promoting his own political party's fortunes.
for one thing, he employs the tactic of naming his political enemies with one word, putting the listener in the position of feeling as though they must be on one team or the other. the other team is described as shit, so the message is that the wise would be with his team.
and, if his other positions on practical matters are evaluated on scientificly considered merits, by his own description, he himself has been "liberal" on one hell of a lot of things, i.e. wrong on one hell of a lot of things.
