Stimulation of the folicles does promote hair growth, disposable razors have been found with a chemical on the soothing strip that is also in rogaine.
I tested it on myself, where I have shaved previously with a razor vs clippers, and there is an obvious difference, thanks.

Yes, using razors with the gel strip to prevent "irritation" puts hair folicle stimulating chemicals into your skin, altering how your hair grows in with prolonged use. In my experience.
