They are very different sauces. Tabasco is ideal for a bloody Mary
Sriracha is loaded with garlic and Tabasco has none. Sriracha is ideal for many Asian dishes and Tabasco in a pinch wood do but it is all about choices.
Also YES Sriracha is sweeter because its all Red Jalapeno which is a sweeter pepper and the one in Tabasco is not sweet at all.

Well that and the fact that sugar is the second ingredient after red pepper. I don't like sweet hot sauces, whether American or Oriental.
