Love them like my children. Love them, cherish them, embrace them. Without companies shovelling their shitty products down your throat 24/7, life would be unimaginably cruel. It's so selfish to think that people could maybe do without having propaganda broadcast to them in their every waking second. The best thing to do is to watch adverts constantly, so those poor hard-done-by companies can get their products or message out to consumers. Because that's all people are. Consumers. what's your point? they are still the largest block of employers by a long shot. sure, they aren't required to observe all OSHA safety regulations or provide health insurance but they account for a majority of income of a majority of americans. they also tend to pay better than minimum wage as sell since they typically aren't hiring completely unskilled employees like a walmart or some other large employer. they also tend to do on the job training and create valuable employees rather than expendable ones.
unless you're an executive or part of the corporate management then you're a 2-bit worker with no skills and probably won't learn much outside of customer service type skills. and you won't get healthcare either since they aren't required to provide insurance to part time sales associates. but, they'll be required to display OSHA signs and make you watch safety videos.

you could abandon society and rely on hunting and gathering, but you're still working daily. in fact you'd be working harder. it's not like we could eliminate work and wages and immediately be better off, most people would just starve and die.
