Ordered a tall coffee. Nothing fancy, just plain black coffee. Pretty hard to mess up, especially from a company that specializes in gourmet coffee. Even McDonalds has decent coffee for god's sake.
It was absolutely disgusting. Like the shitty coffee they have for free at the bank that's been left in the pot all day.
Every time I've been to Starbucks in my life it's been a disappointment. How does Starbucks stay in business?!?

I think part of the problem is I order regular coffee. I see a lot of customers ordering drinks with whipped cream, milk, caramel, chocolate, etc and perhaps that tastes better because it covers up the shitty coffee underneath.

Most people want confectionery drinks that have more sugar than a piece of cake and more fat than 100 grams(1/4 pound for americlaps) of rib-eye steak; they also want pastries with the same thing. That's how they stay in business!
