As you know, the Trump administration currently has hundreds of vacant appointed positions left open in various cabinet departments. I have recently applied for the position of Assistant Secretary for Mine Safety and Health within the Department of Labor. Having no interest in the job and lacking any kind of relevant qualifications, I think I'm almost certain to be considered for the position.
