it was the result of poor crew performance and horny manta rays, beckyderp. i got the ship through the storm just fine. it was the responsibility of the boatswain to ensure the ship remained in good repair. look to the quartermaster if you want someone to blame, it's his job to oversee the crew.

we can point fingers at brie all day long, but this is mostly your fault beckyderp.

to be fair the ship uses lowest tier parts. a fully upgraded ship can carry something like 8000kg and the blowhard just got it's first 400kg upgrade. and none of the parts are made with optimal materials yet, the engines could be so much better with the right materials. there's a pretty clear progression for ships and we're still at the lowest end.

yeah. sure. idk why streaming makes me strain to talk. i think i'm trying to put on a streamer voice or something cause i keep thinking i need to be interacting with viewers and, like, idk, do the thing they do where they're entertaining. so i kept muting it and like clearing my throat and trying to just sound normal but it kept feeling like i was forcing myself somehow.

becky said at one point i sounded japanese and i realized i'd been trying to do a voice at her or something. one thing is for sure though, talking at text chat isn't a normal feeling, it just feels odd to have a conversation and ask questions of live text chat. kinda off putting, the delay.

there's some good streamers out there, it takes talent. gotta be a showman. it's hard to keep the boring stuff compelling, when i watch streams i usually hop around a lot cause they micromanage tedious stuff live. but the good ones can fill that time with their "big personality" and keep it watchable.

well, nevermind, it's particularly glitchy right now. keep getting booted from the server. while that was happening the ship was boarded. i was logging in and out to try and stop the world spinning bug and a couple of thieves stole resources from the hold. i caught them trying to damage the sails, they were probably intent on sinking the ship. i managed to get logged in just in time to engage the engines and make a run for it. they ended up jumping overboard. they made off with a bunch of lead and bronze, trash mats basically.

eventually there will be lockable chests so they can't steal our trash. all the valuables are on my belt. oh, i guess they did get like 90 steel which i found in a chest. oh well. a crew would go a long way towards deterring would be thieves and saboteurs.
