Does anyone play Rust? I like the name because it reminds of of bloodplay (blood tastes rusty). Anyway, it looks like a cool game too. If people here play it, could we somehow form a Minichan survival group in the game? That would be fun!!

i've heard both Arc and Rust are shit. if i'm not mistaken they have an always online mechanic that leaves your in game avatar idle and people just kill you constantly when you're offline and it's pretty shit. is rust actually recommended by anyone here? what makes it novel and not just a minecraft clone with shittier building mechanics and no voxel based terrain destruction? vehicles or something?

That is why you have to work quickly to establish a base. Get walls up and get a metal door or a wood door with a key lock although this is not recommended since if you lose the keys you're fucked. Get a combination lock. The doors can still be blown off with C4, but you have to use strategy so that people don't bother you. The types of servers also determine the player base. This is more about survival than it is actually building, but if you develop a small town and know how to defend it from bandits (other players) it can be quite a rewarding experience. I, unfortunately, never got that far. I'm surprised you're not into it more since you often find yourself in more leadership positions whenever we play Minecraft.
I do think Conan Exiles has the potential to dethrone Rust since that is like a Rust and Skyrim hybrid set in the world of Conan the Barbarian.

So, can we set up a Minichan team for Rust? We could set up a city, we would have at least someone online 24/7, and we are all Autistic, obsessed losers, so we would take it very seriously and end up with some badass stuff.

Find a decent server that has just the right amount of assholes. Most of the time players seem to be friendly, but if you hear gun shots in the distance then it's a good sign to stay away. There are drops from airplanes, but everybody heads for them so it's best to avoid them unless you happen to be right next to it which can happen sometimes.
