It used to be that kids would watch educational films in the classroom. Actual films, shown with a film projector. And, it seemed that at some point, there would always be stray pubes finding their way into the projector so that the students would have to see the pube shadows in the way of the volcanoes or discussion of erosion processes or what have you.

And the pubes wouldn't stay put. They would shift around, and it was really distracting. Eventually they might move out of view, but sometimes they got stubborn. "For crying out loud, why is that pube still there," they might wonder.
