My dad regrets not trying to patent some ideas he had as a teenager. You know those stereos in cars that show the song name on the radio? He had an idea like that but never tried to patent it. Meh.

I have several Patents and one of them ran out years ago yet HP and Tektronix still pays royalties ....very odd so I put that money into a Bank CD and let it sit just in case they do an audit and ask for money back.
I once used a patent to weasel my way into a Robot R&D company. Huge mistake but I did get Robots out of my system forever - I R Great Electronics Design Engineer but make a Lousy poor terrible Mechanic which Robots tend to need more then talented Electronics Engineers. The team I managed never knew how horrible I was ----Of course they were not there after hours and Sat/Sun 12-18 hours a day to see me trying to make up for my crappy mechanics.

Don't know about that map. Iowa is the oldest? Um I have lived in both Arizona and Florida and feel differently. Also not all of that stuff is so bad. Alcoholism- not bad. Suicide- less people are better. Etc.

Driving through Mississippi is nice. It is very beautiful with the magnolia trees. Definitely a portrait of the South. Just don't stop for anything and talk to the locals as it would ruin it.

er sorry but I put very very little in CD's --- These days and I truly loved the game Monopoly and I have always hated the idea of Real Estate for so many reasons. These days for last 4 years I have been playing Monopoly for real. Lots of Condo,s and Houses all Beach locations - all with beach views or at Beach. Reason is housing is now near impossible to buy, I got what I have at Super low prices and a couple are new - never sold, on market for less then cost of construction and material and one at less then cost of land!
Yet around where I live people are still making HUGE Salary's at great companies. So they can afford top dollars on rent. It was a BITCH 2get into this area of investment - Hated it at first but now its free wheeling - One CD is due on 6/6/2011 and it goes right in2 the next Beach house investment!!
