that's weird. it is different though because it's seems to be made for biologically intersex people

that is true
it's funny tho
here if you're changing your name *and* gender marker it's pretty easy, just fill out some forms. if you/re just changing your name you have to go to court and publish an ad and stuff still.

yeah i think here it's based on what you look like. i'm sure some people will have an issue with that but it's supposed to be for identification so i think that its a pretty good solution

But what if you decide you later want to change back? Or if you're genderfluid? How many times are you allowed to change?

When will you figure out what gender you are?

oh that's weird and kind of upsetting. they only rescinded the top surgery requirement recently but you still need to've been on hormones for ages
@795,869 (Buto)
i don't see a problem with that tbqh
i also don't see a problem with changing your name multiple times and i don't see how that's any different

why? the point of an id is to, you know, identify yourself. if you have a gender listed that's different from what you look like it could be confusing. if you were mtf for example you would try to look like a female right (with whatever state of transitioning you're in)

well, yeah. the poster i replied to was saying what if people decided to detransition. which implies first transitioning. and then detransitioning. at each stage u would be changing ur gender marker to fit as appropriate
