Number of state governorships/state legislatures is a misleading metric because Democrats aren't evenly distributed. California, for example has more people than like half the red states put together.
This is why Hillary lost in 2016, not because of Russian hackers but because of the electoral college and uneven distribution of Democrats.

there are several factors, yes including Russian tomfoolery, it was widely reported and described by many officials
there's no sense pointing at one factor exclusively regardless
but it serves the winning party to emphasize that the losing party does just that, so we keep hearing about it to the point of ugh
never-ending electioneering for the rest of our lives, vomit

While I don't like Hillary Clinton, I think she deserved to win and the Electoral College is retarded and should be abolished (either formally with an amendment, or de facto with the interstate popular vote compact thingy).

When valid criticism of Trump comes about, Trump supporters have a habit of switching to partisan attacks on the Democrats. Almost like they're trying to distract from the failures of their leader by focusing attacks on some other party.

the PC thing is a problem of society that is ever present, not shitheads in one government for a brief time
