I liked the movie the same way I ended up liking There Will Be Blood and the recent Planet of the Apes movies. If they resonate with me to where I want to see it again then I consider it great. I think the dialog between Chris Pine and Gal Gadot is what made the movie great. The chemistry between their characters felt real and actually kind of sweet.

It's not even a click flick. Most superhero stories involve love interests. Most action movies involve love interests. There's a difference between love interests and a full-on romantic comedy and/or "chick flick".

sorry, but you're not a reliable judge of what is/is not a chick flick. chicks will be like, "oh, it's such a good movie and there's lots of action and stuff, you'll love it," and her boyfriend will be standing there behind here back silently mouthing "chick flick" at me and shaking his head no. and you're like on hormones now so we can't trust you anymore. get used to it, and learn to cook.
