Topic: YouTube has a new TV service?

I do not mean YouTube Red, but YouTube TV which appears to be like what PlayStation Vu is which makes me question how this new service would succeed if it will. It seems like nobody really likes YouTube Red since they consider it to be cancerous, but this is a service providing actual cable television channels. I might take the free trial and report back later.

The best part of that service is the ability to use Google's server farm as an unlimited DVR. 6 accounts for $35.
Google should have struck a deal with Showtime and HBO for a major discount for the first year.

I hope Viacom joins the service although they may never since they still seem pretty mad about people uploading copyright material to their servers.

YouTube Red? Sounds a bit too spicy for me.

Not surprising... Cable television is on it's death bed with it's traditional model.

How do you like it? Should I try it?

I'm trying Playstation Vue right now lol

It's nice.

Youtube TV isn't in my area yet and PSVue has Cartoon Network.
