I had two huge boxes waiting for me when I got home today. One contained a battery and one contained a brand new Google ChromeOS netbook. I signed up to beta test them like 8 months ago and never heard anything. I never got any email and nothing in the package indicates it being for testing/me having to return it....
My birthday is tomorrow, so it's pretty awesome but very very strange. Maybe Google has finally become self-aware and is trying to buy my loyalty before it attempts to overtake the world.

There is no identifiable info or stickers on it anywhere, it's solid black. I'm pretty sure it's the cr48, I think the launch ones say Samsung and Acer on them. Under the battery it says "Model:Mario". I think they are just shipping out the leftover cr48 prototypes to get rid of them before the product launch.

They aren't for sale so you can't get one normally. I'll take a picture of it today, and I love it so far =-O. It's pretty fast, it boots in about 3 seconds.
