Where they have thoughts about having sex with a child (very similar to the former)? When they have thoughts about hurting/raping/coercing a child? Or when they actually do something with a child? And what activity with a child do you personally (because it's all subjective) deem immoral? Consensual sex, or just rape/hurting?

If a paedophile engages in sex, consensual or not, with anyone less than 16, then that is against the law and morality is irrelevant. However, I believe that if a paedophile doesn't act upon their urges then they are no different from anyone else, and I, for one, will not judge them for it.

How can you be so sure that a child cannot consent? Have you asked one? We need evidence here to support this statement. Can a pre-pubescent and early post-pubescent child , that is between 0 years to about 14-15, consent to sexual intercourse or any other sexual activity being fully conscious of one's own decision and the consequences? What makes us believe that it cannot?

Should we teach pre-pubescent children all about sexuality so that they can go out and have sex with adults who desire them?
