After lengthy consideration I have, with some reluctance, voted Tory.
The way I see it, the most dangerous feasible outcome here is the Tories with a small majority. As I understand, a big reason that May called this election was t get a big majority, so that Brexit negotiations couldn't be unbalanced by a hard Brexiteer Tory rebellion.
I was seriously considering going Labour, as Corbyn did a lot to assuage my doubts about him in his TV appearances. I voted Labour. Under Tory government, my home council and thousands of other Northern councils have had their funding slashed to dangerous levels. Tories hate the North.

Nope. I weighed the possibilities, and concluded it was the most practical course of action. If I'd voted purely on ideals I would've gone Lib Dem for sure, but sadly they aren't going to be able to win and implement their second referendum plan.
That said, I won't mind if a surprise Labour government gets in. As I said, I'm less sceptical of Corbyn that before.

As I explained, Ash, I felt the two likeliest outcomes were a strong Tory majority or a weak Tory majority. As a weak majority would be more vulnerable to Brexit negotiations being held hostage by hard Brexit Tories, I decided to vote against that.
As I said, I did so with reluctance. The Conservatives banning the production of certain types of pornography disgusts me. And I do not really trust them to help the NHS, all the more so knowing that the department that my mother works in is being shut down (although she will be given a new job within the NHS).

This is what I wanted all along. I am betraying Brexit. If we had remained in the EU, the Tories would still be in power. I voted for Brexit hoping it would force an early general election. If we can get another coalition, we may be able to soften the Brexit. This is a high gamble.

Unfortunately, once article 50 is triggered (which everyone now agrees it must), there is a time limit of 2 years before the "divorce".
If that time runs out and we don't have trade agreements, we default to the WTO tariffs which will be very bad for business.

No reason it can't. The Conservatives didn't need many more seats to form a majority, so doing so was as simple as talking to the DUP, which is politically close to them.
It's not like in Dutch politics, where several parties will need to work out a mutually agreed deal. Here in the UK, coalition situations can usually be resolved by two parties quickly making a deal to get a majority.
I'm glad it's been dealt with quickly, too. That Brexit deal countdown isn't getting any longer.

But then the good guy and his allies make an attack, and succeed. They don't outright defeat the bad guys, but they strike a very serious blow. The main bad guy is left shaken by the unexpected success of the good guys, and faces scepticism from their own forces.
I know some of my fellow Brits might not like me saying the Tories are the bad guys, but I assure you it was purely to put things into movie-like terms.

More specifically multiple NPR outlets host a non NPR business program hosted by a competing network. Even today on the way to a Greek Festival I listened to more analysis by Shocked Brit business analysts So far of the many interviewed not one sees a positive outcome for UK

Uh, so guys... The more I hear about the DUP, the less I like them. They're hardcore Christians, with all the anti-gay, anti-science and anti-abortion attitudes that entails. It's like having US Republicans playing a central part in our government, which scares me.I'm not too worried, at the moment. Theresa May has reassured people that the Tories aren't going to do anything like take away gay marriage. And even then, a big enough Tory rebellion combined with Labour, SNP and Lib Dem votes should shut down anything too crazy. Even so, I'm worried over how these guys are pivtotal players now.

It's comforting for me that your country's government is going through as dire straits as the government in my country. And I don't mean that as an insult, it's just nice to know that there's people out there going through something similar.
