This is like the one Jewish food I wouldn't eat. I'd eat matzo, bagels, lox, knish, latkes, brisket, challah but that just looks like something that should be on Fear Factor.

Out of the jar rather bland - Homemade rather blandPhoto is what they are based on - French Quenelles. Mostly ground up white fish and the French use Pike and Jews use a variety of Lake white fish but nothing like trout which has a distinct flavor.
Gefilte fish without Horseradish wood be not worth eating
