Will try for short. Original host was Bianca.com - 1st net Host for communities - just out of Usenet & BBS era. Bianca offered user owned forums and public forums with chat rooms related to those forums.
Cost towards end was $10/yr for a fancy handle & $24/yr for a forum with private chat & guestbook.
Estimated 5000 paid for forums and one of them was very popular - so much so that it required two parallel forums to handle the load. It had a number of names over the years. As the World Turns morphed to The Mental Ward. Bianca crashed when BandWidth bill exceeded $12,500 month not including the SP cost and the 5 servers that Bianca owned and maintained - Two are still in service for founders use along with friends of few.
Ward moved to dotcomjunkies and then something called the Reef and when that owner decided to cash out - a friend in England took it over because I said no thank you to running it.
Bianca started in 1994 and Mental Ward around 97-98

active? no Usenet seemed to much porn and my standards and porn then and now just not a good mix for me at all.
Early days of net were boring by comparison to my Ham radio hobby and first computers and I had all of them including the first DEC's PDP-8 and 11 ---Just not at all impressed. The Bianca format impressed me because I traveled world wide at the time and could stay in touch and play no matter where I was nor were time zones an issue. I notice chans go dead for the most part when USA is sleeping - not at all true with the Bianca days. Now work wise its Twitter and most of my contacts are somewhere else in world.

As in any crime it takes a body/complaint/ So far as I know, no body. Complaints did cost him a job, although I get mixed messages from people where he used to work (school)
Prior to any dox work I read his messages back in 97 or so, where he said he did spend tyme in jail. I cannot verify that. Was promised some info but those who made promises are a one way street. Basic rule with Matt telling anyone anything is to just not believe much. Parse it over tyme is about all one can do with his info.
I will say this. He posted the name of the Catholic school he applied at. I should have filed that school and later checked back. Found him working there ONLY after my discovery of what I forwarded to FBI etc @previous (A)
Fact is I Never paid one dime for DOX Anything on him. So no I cannot verify that. He most certainly comes from a family that is on record as "is" Feds arrest and conviction with more going on now.
