Topic: If USAmerica can't adopt the metric system, what makes you think anything at all will change?

USAmericans are never going to join the rest of the world in progress. When PRChina is calling you out on bad environmental decisions you've got to know you've fucked up and are once again the world's laughing stock for stupidity.

Trump is anti-progress, and wants to aggressively reverse progress on most fronts. Of course he pulled out of the Paris deal.

I would call this the American people getting what they want, but Trump lost the popular vote and his approval rating isn't great. So I'm sure most USAmericans are as disappointed as the rest of us.

that rainbow part of the picture shows that the artist must be one hell of a horny bastard to imagine a couple of trapezoids and a triangle is a penis going into an ass.

There is the Horrid case of the Mars Climate Orbiter
Ground-based computer software which produced output in non-SI units of pound (force)-seconds (lbf·s) instead of the SI units of newton-seconds (N·s) specified in the contract between NASA and Lockheed. The spacecraft encountered Mars on a trajectory that brought it too close to the planet, causing it to pass through the upper atmosphere and disintegrate.[

So bottom line which caused Orbiter to crash rapidly to surface Lockheed Martin engineering team used English units of measurement while the NASA team used metric system for Spacecraft

Here in MC people mix up Penis numbers based on Metric vs English

That makes no sense though the year is the least important almost always when you give someone a date

It is the only method in which dates can easily be sorted from oldest to newest or vice versa.

It's just as well we get into the habit now because it will cause political strife in the future otherwise
