She's placing glue traps down to catch mice. You just fill tiny plastic bags with elmers glue and put that in a area experiencing rodent traffic and then a mouse will find it and get trapped. The bad part or fun part depending on the individual is you sometimes still need to kill the rodent after it becomes trapped in the glue, but occasionally it just rips its face off and it'll die in a few days anyway. Nbd.
