Topic: Good news for Europe!!!

Svet !jzYkdX7lIw started this discussion 9 years ago #62,667

The boat "Vos Prudence" has arrived in Naples today with 1444 engineers, doctors and scientists mostly from Nigeria the rest coming from all over Africa.

On board there were also 270 women, 44 of them pregnant so that's 44 new doctors in 25 years time.

It really is a good time to living in Europe.

Now I do think there's very much something to be said for keeping control over the amount of refugees coming into a country. At a point it will put a stretch on housing, and will likely fuel existing cultural divides.

The problem is that the politicians the far right has been offering up on an anti-immigration platform are either idiots or corrupt or both. Brexit was economic suicide and a slash to jobs, Trump is a joke, LePen was mired in corruption scandals and admired Putin.

I mean, maybe if you guys could offer up some halfway competent alternatives, you might find more support.

Being a nigger isn't a matter of skin color, it's a state of mind. I know a few of both, white niggers, black decent people etc.

I've proven multiple times that I am all in for helping Syrian war refugees, but this "replacement migration" (official UN terminology, I've posted links to UN docs talking in details about it) is just wrong. So if you push a hostile agenda onto the area I live in, I'll respond in a hostile manner.

What I would be worried about is the depression of wages for low-skill workers. This is what fuels a lot of the anti-immigration sentiment in America.

For people in a profession with a high barrier to entry there's no downside but for unskilled workers the extra supply depresses wages among those who are already vulnerable.

I just Googled it. Here is how they explain it:
> United Nations projections indicate that over the next 50 years, the populations of virtually all countries of Europe as well as Japan will face population decline and population ageing. The new challenges of declining and ageing populations will require comprehensive reassessments of many established policies and programmes, including those relating to international migration.

But why replacement migration? And why employ these tactics only in Europe and Japan (protip: there's a few other countries that have an aging population, not included in this plan)?

Why not create an environment that would increase the birth rates of the local population? Not to mention the specific situation of Japan, the last thing they need is more people, a shrinking of the population would benefit them as individuals... but it would be a hit to the global economy, and we cant let that happen...

@previous (J)

By that logic, the age profile and population within a country should be a matter of the respective governments of those countries. If the wanted to sort out a "population problem" with "replacement migration" it would be their policy, not UNs.

UNs matter would be if a shitload of immigrants were coming on their own, to intervene and see why they are leaving their countries and what can be done about it. Not use thos people to replace whole populations.

A lot of that is I think because they're appealing to the lower classes. The upper classes are not negatively impacted by immigration and benefit from it. The kinds of signalling that would appeal to upper class voters would turn off the working class voters.

These are people who have lost faith in the system so when a Trump or Farage comes along the fact that they're "unprofessional" actually works in their favor.

Also opposition to immigration is shouted down as "racist" and while there are indeed people who oppose immigration from Central and South America out of racism I think 90% of it is economic, not racial. But the fact that any opposition to immigration gets shouted down as racist means the more genteel and sophisticated politicians shy away from it.

@787,621 (Meta)
> From my experience that's true of all politicians - left, right, and center.
Of course, politicians from all over the spectrum will make promises they don't end up keeping. That's part and parcel. But what I'm saying is that it seems the far-right guys are very much getting more votes, and sometimes winning, because of their particularly big and ultimately unfeasible promises. Two big examples were "we'll ban the Muslims!" and "and extra £350 million per week for the NHS!". Both of those promises were made with much confidence at the time, but after they won electoral victories things turned out to be not so simple.

> I really do think future generations will see our Russophobia as something akin to McCarthyism.
Well, Russia has done quite a few things to provoke the west's current wariness of them.

But even putting that aside, I'm not comfortable with would-be or actual democratic leaders making friendly overtures to such an authoritarian and influential leader.

> These are people who have lost faith in the system so when a Trump or Farage comes along the fact that they're "unprofessional" actually works in their favor.
Yep, you're right. Their unconventional manners and outsider statuses are precisely why they've done so well lately. But it seems to me that these bombastic, maverick personas are good at winning elections, but not so suited as heads of state.

> Also opposition to immigration is shouted down as "racist" and while there are indeed people who oppose immigration from Central and South America out of racism I think 90% of it is economic, not racial.
Yeah, it's a tricky issue. I'm hoping it doesn't take anything too crazy to fix, and things'll just simmer down a bit later on. The current powder-keg atmosphere isn't good for anyone.

It is a problem once you consider what that certain skin color brings.
It'll remove true diversity (green, blue, yellowish eyecolors, blonde/red hair...), it'll lower the IQ (on average, the black race scores 15ish points lower). And not to mention the culture. I traveled Europe north to south, east to west... and I've seen for example how mass immigration worked in Malmo. That city is in no way related to pure Swedish towns. No cozy Swedish traditions, no chill native mentality (I lived a few weeks in a city where people don't even lock their doors... what a great feeling living in such a community).
So to answer your question, yes, the skin color is a problem, but not in a way you'll try to imply.

@787,660 (H)
Lol, that's not how it works. We now established that there's a paper called "replacement migration". You are implying that it's just "one of many sincere attempts to address population decline". Since we can't find any other attempt to address population decline in Europe and Japan, the only conclusion to be drawn is, UN really wants to replace the native population with African immigrants. They aren't even masking it as "war refugee migration" etc. anymore and you're here convincing me they are just trying to help. Fake Anon, please...

What a pack of shite. Whatever, enjoy your delusions. Facts aren't racist but you're skewing them for a racist agenda, you absolute scumbag.

You're asking the wrong person, I forgot my crystal ball in Poland. Try e-mailing the UN and ask them. Post a copy of the response ITT so we don't need to e-mail them all one by one. If you need help composing the e-mail, I'll gladly help.

Surely you have some idea of why they're doing it, if you're so certain that they are? I thought you had insight into these matters? Why the reluctance to answer?

I am certain that they are because they are admitting and publishing papers about it. Rest is implied by you.

Allright then... So, in summary, you are absolutely certain that the UN's replacement migration program has a sinister intent and is not meant for the benefit of the receiving countries. The UN's stated goals of using these immigrants to help address population decline must be lies. But despite this strong belief, you don't know why the UN is doing it or how they benefit.

See, this inclination towards conspiracy theories is another reason I just don't trust these far-right guys to actually offer positive, rational solutions. Now I know that DasSheeple is probably an outlier in terms of belief, and his racist and conspiracy theorist outlooks probably aren't very representative. All the same, the willingness of the far-right to use conspiracy theories (Trump lying about voter fraud, Brexiters saying the vote was rigged, etc.) do not paint a picture of an evidence-based ideology.

You are thinking of the 144,000 and those are supposed to be virgin men, not engineers.

You said that replacement migration is a sinister intent, not me. I just said the outcome is, in my opinion, a bad one. I would rather see (and we established, that's not gonna happen according to the non-existance of any UN papers published on that matter) the UN try to increase the total fertility rate up to 2+ (from current 1.2 children per woman) with the native population, than this replacement migration program.

You again, maid up claims and presented them as mine, then built your whole post around it. On top of that you put me in the far-right basket and attached an inclination to "conspiracy theories" onto me, stating that my ideology isn't evidence based.

And here we have a thread full of facts and statistics presented by me with 0 conspiracy theories, while on the other hand, you just post accusations and lies. (Anon K was even more funny, I'll give him that).

I guess I'll end it here, it has become silly arguing with you guys over these things.

I'm sorry, you are right. Just because you're into climate change denial and holocaust denial doesn't mean you should just be arbitrarily labelled a conspiracy theorist.

Again spreading lies. Climate change is happening, I am skeptic about how much it is man made/influenced by people.

Second, I am not denying the holocaust, I am just questioning the numbers (because they have been revised multiple times already) and I'd like more investigations in it, yet I am met with outrage and called anti-semitic. And here I thought truth wouldn't fear investigation... nice try tho.

I'm just playing by the rules set by Anon H and you... hate the game, not the player.

Look at this Map - Appears Brits turned tail and bugged out over just a few years. Now look at what is left. Postage stamp bits here and there equal to about wot a few random spots of Grease on paper holding Fish n Chips.

Say how is that bit of Scotland holding up after Brexit? I am concerned about wot Fyne Malt Whiskeys goin cost in future.

Okay, I understand. Since you're coming off the worse in our little flame war here, you've decided to try to turn the tables on me by trying to get me to argue about how I'm good enough to argue with instead of what I was actually talking about, and then you're just going to try and smooth over the giant mountain of bullshit you typed by pretending that you're actually above the entire thing anyway, and you were all along so ha you lose. That's all you ever do, you're fooling nobody. You're still a disgusting waste of air, fuck off.
