I've always found it weird that some people think dreaming in color is a weird occurance and that most dreams are monochromic. I've always dreamed in color, so I'm wondering how true this is for most people.

Weirdly, I never dream in any colours I can remember. I just remember things happening and events in dreams, but not what colour they were.

Colour. But most of the dreams I remember or am lucid in are at night (makes sense, cause the lightswitch usually makes me lucid)
Wonder if someone dreaming in black and white could add colour in a lucid dream?

I think so. The people who say their dreams are black and white usually say that their vivid/lucid dreams are in color. That would be interesting to see if you could just switch the color on and off.

What shocked me first time I was lucid was how vivid everything was, it all seemed so real. Whenever I remember a dream before that it wasn't so vivid. After you wake, your brain just lets it all get wiped :\

Nah I always remember my dreams... and the lucid ones I have from time to time (quite rarely)... it's like, just pure random shit like my daily life hahaha...

What I find weird is people who don't dream at all... a lot of people can't remember their dreams, but they are at least aware that they were dreaming. The ones who just don't dream must be dead inside...
And not dreaming because you constantly smoke pot is different, that I can understand.

people who used to dream in black and white were people who watched a lot of black and white television, which is when the the question was first asked. it wasn't ever asked before the invention of the television.

strictly speaking, it's common to recall it without color, which means essentially that some people will only recall the color when it had some importance to the dream.
