You're conflating the Trump Tower wiretapping allegations with the Comey tapes threat. They're two entirely different things.
It would be like if I accused r04r of spying on my PMs then, later, in a totally unrelated matter, I told Killer Lettuce he better hope there's no chatlogs of our IRC conversations. It wouldn't be "Meta falsely accuses himself of spying on himself" because they were different things.

If he thought Comey taped those conversations, why would he imply that the tapes are bad for Comey? Even if they were, Comey would just not release them and no one would be the wiser. This only makes sense if Trump thinks there is a possibility that someone in his administration is taping conversations. And if someone is, then all those tapes can be subpoenaed, and well...we all know what happens when presidents refuse to turn over taped conversations.
