I like simple recipes like "just add boiling water" because boiling really adds to the sauce

The Big Daddies Derek consume only the finest cuisine, freshly prepared by a team of Cordon Bleau chefs. Thanks.

Irish Stew. I always cook it from top of my head, always turns out good.

Roughly:
- half a liter of dark Irish beer
- half a liter of water
- half a kg of beef cut in bite size cubes (needs to be fried in butter first until it turns nice brown, then you sprinkle wheat flour over it and put into the rest)
- onion and garlic (chop into tiny pieces, and get it yellow on butter first, then add to the rest)
- 2-3 dry plums cut into tiny slices
- 2-3 spoons of tomato concentrate
- 4-5 bay leafs
- 1 carrot cut into small cubes
- 1 spoon of finely chopped fresh parsley

At the end add 200-300 grams of sliced mushrooms and some smoked dry meat to add that extra nice flavor. Mushrooms and smoked meat come in during the last 30-40 minutes of cooking. Don't cook those two for longer than 40ish minutes, or you'll have too mushy mushrooms and too much smoke flavor.

Before you add mushrooms and smoked meat, cook it for 3 hours at least. Some faggots will tell you that an hour and a half is enough, but those impatient faglords also always wonder why my stew turns out so much better then their. Patience is a virtue.

Season with hot paprika, a mix of black and white pepper and salt ofc.

This amount is easily enough for 5 adults. Serve with mashed potatoes.

Typical slavic peasant mentality, "just take all the stuff and dump it in a big pot". No thought, no presentation, no finesse. Even the side dish is just a potato that you bashed into paste.

Pathetic, nothing else to say so you pick on a typo. Go squat around your food bowl, Slav.
