<< This is a frork.So I tried a Signature Crafted Sweet BBQ Bacon sandwich today. For the new Signature Sandwiches, one can choose among a hamburger, crispy chicken, or grilled chicken base. I chose the grilled chicken. McDonald's has always had a decent grilled chicken sandwich, decently moist and not as small as many other fast food restaurants'.
I did not have particularly high hopes for this sandwich because McDonalds BBQ sauce has been too mild for my taste in the past and I question their ability with bacon.
However, this is a very good sandwich. The BBQ sauce has a good level of spiciness and even a bit of vinegar "bite." The bacon pieces might depend a bit on the location, but mine were plentiful and crisp. I was surprised by the amount of heat in the BBQ sauce. It was balanced but strong. Quite honestly, I was not even tempted to douse the whole thing with McDonalds ranch dressing.

I would actually rate this sandwich above Wendy's new Fresh Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich, which I was also quite impressed by. The Wendy's sandwich lacks the depth of flavor of this sandwich.

I routinely eat authentic spicy asian food (I break into the apartments of terrified asian families at dinnertime and eat their food before they can) and I will offer a second opinion on this delicacy.
