Topic: How can one ensure they don't turn bitter and cranky when they get older?

I never want to be this way when I get older. I've been trying to cut back on my nostalgia intact and other things. I just don't want to be someone who snubs somebody just for trying to have a friendly conversation. I don't want to be my mother who is always cynical at the world or my world with his entitled attitude while at the same time making the claim that millennials are unlogical and entitled. Please tell me there is a way to prevent this from happening?

I was bitter and cranky before I finished school
so, avoid turning bitter and cranky when older by being that way now, beat the rush
also don't listen to people talk about people
people like that are fucksticks

I am already kind of bitter and cranky now. I try not to be because I don't want to be that way.

that's like one of the best parts about being old is that you can be an unapologetic curmudgeon and everyone has to stand there being polite about it while you drone on and on about how they should live their lives. why would you forsake that? you don't cut off your nose to spite your face, you complain about it. that's what getting old is all about.
