You send 0.01237 Bitcoin to the specified Bitcoin address.

Instead you just said "LOL BUTTCOINS" and wasted your chance.
You all had a chance to mine Bitcoins on your CPU but chose to make fun of me and bitcoins guy.
I sold all my mined bitcoin for less than a penny each but some idiot had to be the first to sell.

Yeah but the electricity to mine them probably cost more than a cent each.
Now that I missed my chance on bitcoins, I'll probably go all-in on the next cryptocurrency and end up losing my shirt.

Probably not actually since I was mining on a dual-core Celeron processor that was already running anyway. Also I didn't pay the power bill.

And there is a new cryptocurrency every week. Pick one, either mine it or buy it when it first starts... buy all you can get, the price always goes waaaaay up on new coins in the first weeks.

Like $80 for all of my CPU mined Bitcoin which i essentially invested nothing in making. The later mining efforts all had investment costs but I still made like 12 bitcoin in total for a $500 investment. The 6 remaining bitcoin that I didn't spend though... I got high and encrypted my wallet with a 128bit password I don't remember and lost the written copy.. So those are gone.

They'll never be usable as currencies though when they're this volatile. You're just gambling. No one wants a currency where you go from broke, to multimillionaire, to broke again in a week.

How much of a gamble is it when you are turning nothing into something, reliably, every time.
I'm just kind of telling you, you're missing out on the alt currency train right now just like you missed out on bitcoin.
With Alt coins it's easy to mine some if you catch it at the start or buy a little bitcoin and trade it for the new alt coin at literally rock bottom prices, it's brand new and people don't know what it's worth yet so they sell for nothing. Do it over and over again with new coins, some of them will end up being worth a lot especially when you can buy them for like 0.000016 USD per unit.

Okay what coin should I start mining today? I'll throw an AMD A10 and an Intel i5 at it.

To effectively mine a SHA-256 coin you're going to want an ASIC, for Scrypt you want an AMD GPU. There are also CPU-only coins.
I'll assume you want to mine a scrypt coin, so I will recommend you mine Ganjacoin. It's not the newest but it has promise.
