The news media has been hostile toward his administration and the news media affects the minds of the voting public. Are we looking at our eleventh one-term president? I guess the RNC is still looking for one of their own guys too since they don't consider Trump a victory.

But who do we replace him with? Do the Democrats even have any candidates who can win the election? Especially when people accuse them of being in bed with corporations? If Trump serves his four years, how do we know we won't get another Rep. candidate worse than Trump? What if Pence runs and wins? That would be worse.

This thread isn't about whether or not he wants a second term. It's about if he'll get one thanks to the news media convincing voters that he is unfit for the job.

Jon Stewart needs to run in 2020.

i don't think the news media HAS to convince anyone he is unfit for the job. he is doing that himself.

Wait until the 2018 midterms for the first clue. Way too early to tell.

I reviewed my original post and I only spoke of Trump possibly being a one term president. I never brought up him running again. Also, the RNC is just as divided as the DNC, so they could bring their own candidate to run against Trump, if I recall correctly, since he doesn't "fit the mold" for their idea of President.
@782,048 (Fake anon !ZkUt8arUCU)
This is very true. Although, I expect an overall Republican victory.
@782,029 (Green !BEERiVqJJw)
It's funny how you actually think a news network like CNN gives a shit about your views or any others. If their shareholders became hard conservative then they'd most likely be riding the Trump train right now.

@previous (キャサリン? !TGirlYJKXM) > If Trump serves his four years,
If trump serves his four years that implies he isn't running again.
> how do we know we won't get another Rep. candidate worse than Trump?
How can we get another republican candidate if trump runs for reelection? It will still be Trump.
> What if Pence runs and wins? That would be worse.
Do you mean after Trump runs again? Because Trump is running for reelection.
> I never brought up him running again.
You brought up the possibility that he might not, but is that worth thinking about since he, in fact, will run again?

Trump would be running again, but that doesn't mean other Republicans cannot run to my knowledge. There are speculative talks that John Kasich might run in 2020 according to Wikipedia. Also, lol, The Rock says he is interested in running. He must think he is Ronald Reagan.

Shit, if Trump cannot finish the four years, we might be looking at Pence '18, Pence '19, or Pence '20.
Trump, I have faith you can do this, don't give up now.

Not necessarily. for example Obama in 2012 in WV was competing with a felon in prison for the Dem nod, and only got 60% of the vote.

Yeah the rock won't win but I'd expect Trump to have at least.one primary challenger if his approval ratings stay at 40% or lower.
